About Shams
I am Dr. Shams Niyazi, a Ph.D. in Urdu with NET, SET, and JRF qualifications. I have extensive experience teaching Urdu at college level and conducting advanced literary research. My work focuses on Urdu poetry, particularly Ghazal, with detailed studies on classical and modern poets, including Dr. Bashir Badr. I have published numerous research papers in national and international journals and actively participated in seminars and workshops. My teaching emphasizes critical analysis, literary appreciation, and structured guidance, aiming to help students deepen their understanding of Urdu literature while developing analytical and interpretive skills.
