About Steph
I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol with a degree in Philosophy. I have previous experience of working with children in a variety of roles, and am DBS checked. I also have some tutoring and mentoring experience with students of a range of ages.

I approach each topic by covering the basics first, to give the student a firm basis of knowledge and understanding on which to build. I don’t stick too rigidly to any plan as I like to allow the student to zero in on the part of a topic they’re most curious and enthusiastic about and then foster that interest. I find that even when needing to cover a specific syllabus, it helps to first cement a certain passion for the subject if possible, before then trying to lock down the particulars required to do well in the exam. I aim to be flexible with my approach depending on the needs and learning style of the student.
