About Charlie
I am currently a Philosophy student at Edinburgh University about to enter my 3rd year of studies. I gave extra advice and tutoring to a number of pupils in my senior school for their GCSE Religious Studies and History; all of them achieving either A or A* grades. I hold an D2 (A*) in History, D3 (A*) in Spanish and A* in Religious Studies.

I am an enthusiastic individual whose teaching methods are both clear and engaging. Firstly, I like to find a way of discussing the relevant concepts and ideas in a way that interests the student personally and is is non-tedious. This ensures that they are both attentive and understand the subject to its fullest potential. Then, I like to focus on the student's writing style with a particular interest in improving the structure and clarity of their essays. With this in mind, I specifically target exam technique by planning past questions with them and cross referencing their work with exemplar essays and mark schemes.
