About Heather

Hi, I’m Heather.

I’m a multi-disciplinary photographer and imaging specialist with experience across editorial, studio and product photography, property and lifestyle content, aerial/drone photography, and thermal imaging.

I started in photography from a young age, working alongside professional cinematographers and photographers in both topside and underwater environments. That hands-on experience taught me how to shoot in real-world conditions, often unpredictable, fast-paced, and technically challenging, which shaped the way I approach photography today.

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of photography roles, including editorial work, advertising, product photography and property photography, producing content for websites, social media, print and marketing campaigns.

I’ve worked within large multi-brand organizations, including a major automotive group, where I was responsible for producing photography and video content across multiple brands, dealerships and locations. This included shooting, editing and managing content across multiple websites, 20+ social media channels, Google business pages and ongoing marketing campaigns, while working directly with leadership teams and sales staff to deliver consistent, brand-aligned results.

I’ve also worked in studio environments, producing product photography for eCommerce, advertising and packaging, as well as capturing lifestyle and property content designed to support real business outcomes, not just visuals.

Alongside this, I’ve been a published editorial photographer, working on travel and editorial projects both in Australia and internationally, including overland and underwater photography. These experiences built my ability to tell stories visually and adapt to different environments, clients and expectations.

More recently, I’ve expanded into aerial and drone-based imaging through my own business, including advanced aerial photography and thermal imaging, which is now used across industries such as inspections, environmental and wildlife monitoring, search and rescue, and asset assessment.

Today, I’m also a Chief Remote Pilot and business owner, and have been recognized as a finalist for Outstanding New Business and Next Gen Leader 2025, reflecting both the work I do and my leadership in the field.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on photography as a creative skill.

I understand how it connects to clients, projects, business needs, marketing, and real-world outcomes.
