I am a professional with 8 years of experience tutoring students of all ages. I have professional and academic experience in five countries, and have lived across the United States. I value unique perspectives and different approaches to life. I currently work in the fashion world, but freelance as a photojournalist. In all fields I want to help others be the best they can.

I offer students lessons that will help them not only understand a subject, but apply it to their coursework and their life outside of school. I typically work with students in high school and college, but have occasionally helped middle schoolers as well.
My focus is in the humanities, including history courses, American government courses, regional studies, and journalism. I studied in Russia and Germany in undergrad, and have extensive professional experience in Latin America and France. These regions are close to my heart, and I am passionate about helping others learn them. I draw upon my own experiences for examples and inspiration.
I take a conversational approach that meets students where they are in the subject matter, allowing us to formulate answers together. This helps cement the processes students will call upon in their tests, essays, and more. Additionally, this engaging process feels less instructive in the traditional sense, providing a more natural examination of a subject.
