About Akshat
I’m Akshat Pathrikar, a theoretical physicist and tutor with an M.Sc. in Physics. My research area includes work on black holes and gravitation, using mathematics of differential geometry and scientific programming to explore deep questions that probe nature.
I have taught high-school as well as undergraduate students and helped mentor master’s students in their thesis. Working with learners at different stages has taught me to listen carefully, recognize gaps in understanding, and explain ideas in a pedagogical manner.
I enjoy sharing the curiosity that drew me to physics. My goal while teaching would be to help students feel comfortable asking questions at any time, develop reasoning abilities, and become more independent problem-solvers.

My classes help students understand the concepts of physics clearly and build an intuition for solving problems. I teach school and undergraduate students, adapting the pace and depth to their background and learning goals.
A usual class begins with a short discussion to identify what you understand and where you need help. We then explore the topic through intuition, and connect it to mathematics. You will also solve questions yourself even before we finish with a recap and focused practice.
These classes are suitable for Class 11–12 and undergraduate physics students seeking help with coursework, examinations, or stronger foundations. For interested students, I can also introduce Python and numerical methods if they happen to be interested.
