About Michel
I am a junior studying Physics at ASU online, where mathematics is a core part of my academic training. Beyond my coursework, I also conduct independent research in mathematics, which has strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Math is not just a subject I study — it is a tool I use every day to understand how the world works. Through physics and research, I’ve learned that true understanding is more important than memorizing formulas. I focus on helping students think clearly, recognize patterns, and understand why concepts work. Once the logic makes sense, the formulas follow naturally.
I also have coding experience, which allows me to approach problems from both a mathematical and computational perspective. This helps students see how math connects to real-world applications.
I know what it feels like to struggle with a difficult concept — and I also know the satisfaction that comes from finally understanding it. My goal is to guide students patiently toward that same clarity, confidence, and independence.

Math doesn’t have to be scary. In my lessons, I focus on making concepts feel clear and approachable instead of overwhelming.
I don’t believe in memorizing formulas without understanding them. Instead, we work on understanding why things work. Once the logic makes sense, the formulas become natural — not something you have to force yourself to remember.
I aim to build confidence, reduce anxiety, and help students develop real problem-solving skills that last beyond just one test.
