About John

Hi everyone,

I'm John, a Brazilian pianist living in Montreal who loves to teach. The piano universe has fascinated me since my childhood, and it was as a teenager when I gave my first music lessons. Since then, I have never stopped and I feel honored to contribute with so many stories from pianists of different ages and levels.

About the lesson

My piano course combines learning piano technique, musical interpretation, and listening skills - through a varied repertoire of classical music, jazz, soundtracks, pop and Brazilian music. I have students of varied ages and genres: among children, teenagers/adults and advanced students.

Believe that playing the piano is for everyone who wish to, just have passion and discipline. If you want to make music one of your expressions, don't hesitate to contact me!

Thank you!

Pianist and teacher, PhD student in piano performance at Université de Montréal.
