About Miri
I hold a Master of Music in Piano Performance and bring 10 years of experience teaching learners of all levels. My academic training emphasised technical precision, musical interpretation, and ensemble performance, which shapes a comprehensive teaching approach. I have guided students in building technical skill, expressive ability, and musical understanding while fostering creativity and personal growth. My teaching emphasises structured progression, encouragement, and individualised support. Lessons combine exercises for technique, sight-reading, repertoire, and expressive interpretation. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students can explore ideas, develop independence, and overcome challenges. Constructive feedback and tailored guidance ensure steady progress and long-term skill development. Creativity, technical mastery, and expressive growth are equally emphasised. Outside teaching, I remain actively engaged with performance, repertoire study, and contemporary pedagogical research. This allows me to bring inspiration and real-world insight to lessons. Teaching piano is deeply rewarding because I witness learners develop skill, confidence, and artistry while cultivating their unique musical identity.
