About Eve
My dedication to piano began early and led me to pursue a B.Mus in Piano Performance and an M.Mus in Music Education. Over 10 years, I have guided learners from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on technical proficiency, musical fluency, creative expression, and performance skills. I emphasize structured, student-centered instruction that balances discipline with artistic exploration, ensuring learners gain confidence and enjoyment in their music-making.
I design lessons to be adaptive, engaging, and immersive, combining technical exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and performance preparation. I encourage students to explore musical expression, refine technique, and embrace their artistic voice.
Outside teaching, I perform, collaborate in ensembles, and engage in musical research, bringing contemporary insights into the classroom. Teaching piano is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners transform practice into expressive performance, achieving technical mastery and artistic independence. My goal is to inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for piano.

I integrate exercises, sight-reading, improvisation, duet playing, and performance simulations to strengthen technical skill while fostering expressive confidence. Each lesson is designed to nurture creativity, build fluency, and promote a deep connection with the instrument, ensuring students develop both competence and musical joy.
Beginners focus on hand coordination, basic reading skills, simple melodies, and foundational exercises. Intermediate learners refine finger independence, sight-reading, expressive phrasing, rhythm accuracy, and duet or ensemble work. Advanced students focus on complex repertoire, technical challenges, improvisation, performance readiness, and expressive storytelling through music. Lessons include personalized exercises, reflective practice, and constructive feedback to ensure steady development and musical growth.
Piano lessons also cultivate discipline, creativity, and performance confidence. Students develop the ability to express emotion through music, perform collaboratively, and explore personal musical interpretation. Many discover joy in ensemble playing, solo repertoire, and musical improvisation.
