About Max
Music has been a central part of my life for over 30 years, both as a pianist and a composer. I am a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in Composition, and I love helping students discover their own musical voice and build confidence through structured, enjoyable lessons. Teaching allows me to share the knowledge and skills I have gained over decades, guiding students to reach their goals—whether passing exams, developing technique, exploring jazz and pop styles, or expressing themselves through composition. Watching students grow and succeed is the most rewarding part of my work.

With over 20 years’ experience and a 100% student exam pass rate, I focus on building strong technique, confidence, and musical enjoyment, while nurturing creativity and understanding of music in depth.
