About Brian
I have over 20 years of professional experience as a foreign affairs, officer and pilot in the US Air Force. I have a PhD in Political Science and International Affairs from UC San Diego, MBA in International Business from the University of Nebraska, and a BS from the US Air Force Academy. I also have to Masters degrees in military arts and science. I’m highly proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese and studied as a Fulbright scholar in Hong Kong

Political Science, international relations, foreign area studies, Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese – – I love teaching them all! I’ve taught each of these subjects at UC San Diego, the US Air Force Academy, and assisted in High School and Elementary School classrooms. Perfect! I had the opportunity to take private geopolitics lessons with Brian for one year (October 2024 – November 2025). He greatly enhanced my theoretical background in international affairs through a hands-on approach, connecting current global trends with my daily work. This experience provided me with several practical tools that have been instrumental in strengthening my conflict analysis in my work for the United Nations.
