About Cameron
Politics is a subject I have long been passionate about and one in which I have dedicated much of my academic life to.
I am currently studying for my Masters degree in Political Theory at the University of York. Prior to this, I studied Politics at A Level and hold an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations. This experience has gifted me a wealth of knowledge within the political world from the policy process to the inner workings of government, history of British and American politics as well as understanding international political climates and contemporary issues such as migration, poverty and inequality amongst others.
On top of this. my studies have allowed me to explore a variety of seminal philosophers and thinkers including Marx, Rousseau, Kant, Bentham, Mills and Esping-Andersen among others along with a wide variety of contemporary academics. This offers me a wealth of knowledge to share with you and hopefully push your studies onto the next level in a way that secondary school teachers may not cover.
Studying both Politics and Political Theory at an academic level has presented me with the opportunity to gain a rounded understanding of Politics both theoretically and practically.

My teaching method is geared towards each individual student. We shall initially take a look at the course and topics you are studying before implementing a plan on which ones you need the most help with and gear each session to suit those requests. We will use a range of resources and approaches with each element being explained clearly and sufficiently in a one to one environment. This will be achieved through discussion, the completion of tasks in session as well as questions to be completed away from our time together. Everyone learns differently and each student will be given a different approach designed to suit their academic needs and ensure that they get the most out of the time we spend together.
On top of ensuring they understand the essentials of their curriculum, I will also do my best to offer the student a wider understanding of politics and philosophy through what I have learned at a university level to hopefully offer them information that can put them ahead of their peers and ensure they achieve the highest marks possible.
