About Anisha
Hello! I’m Anisha Dissanayake, a dedicated tutor specialising in Maths and English. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, I bring a strong academic background and a passion for teaching that ensures a supportive and engaging learning environment.
My educational journey has equipped me with a solid understanding of the key concepts in both subjects. I achieved top grades in my A-Levels, with a focus on subjects that require analytical thinking and effective communication skills. This foundation allows me to break down complex ideas in Maths and English into digestible parts, ensuring that my students grasp the material thoroughly.
In my previous role as a Learning Support Assistant, I worked closely with students of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs. This experience taught me how to tailor my teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles, fostering confidence and improvement in academic performance.
