About Luiz Eduardo
My name is Luiz Eduardo, and I’m a native Portuguese speaker from the south of Brazil with a passion for languages and cultural exchange. Over the years, I’ve traveled across Brazil as a volunteer, where I had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world and help many of them learn Portuguese in a natural and friendly way. This experience has taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds, which helps me create a welcoming and effective learning environment for each student. I’m patient, communicative, and genuinely committed to helping you gain confidence in your Portuguese. As your tutor, I’ll always prioritize your comfort, progress, and real-life communication needs. You can expect professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude in every lesson.

As a Brazilian who has traveled the country volunteering and connecting with people from all over the world, I’ve naturally developed a passion for helping others learn Portuguese. My lessons are focused on practical conversation, pronunciation, and everyday expressions – no heavy grammar or textbook rules.
I believe language learning should be fun and meaningful, so I tailor each class to your interests, goals, and real-life situations. Whether you're planning a trip to Brazil or preparing for a big move, I’ll help you feel confident speaking naturally and comfortably.
A typical lesson includes guided conversation, pronunciation tips, vocabulary building through context, and cultural insights to help you sound more like a local. My approach is friendly, flexible, and designed to make you feel at ease while learning.
These lessons are perfect for English speakers of all levels who want to improve their spoken Portuguese in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

Luis Eduardo provides exactly what any beginning, intermediate, or advanced Portuguese student could want. He does a fantastic job of figuring out my exact needs while evolving throughout our sessions based on my growth and desires for learning Portuguese. I really appreciate how he was able to adapt to my best learning style. With all that said Luiz is also a very kind and fun teacher. I can’t recommend him enough. Muito Obrigado Luiz.
