Learning to code can seem like a daunting task for some. Some only focus on the theory without actually implementing it in real. Others directly jump to the practical stuff and get stuck. This is where I would be of most help. I would first explain the theory behind a particular concept/topic, as to what exactly is it we are learning, why does it exist and what is its use in the programming world. Then I would write a code example to demonstrate the concept we just learnt and map it to a real-world situation.
There was a time in my career when I had no idea how to write code. But then I started learning java and got my object-oriented programming concepts right. Now I use the same concepts to code websites!!!
Some concepts which you would be mastering:
1. Classes and objects
2. Data types
3. Functions/methods
4. Constructors
5. Abstract classes and interfaces
6. Polymorphism - big word alert :) (its very simple to understand)
A few lessons with me, and you will not only be able to write code in java but also apply these concepts to other programming languages!!
At the end of each lesson you would receive:
1. The sample code which we would have gone through in the session.
2. The video recording of the session - for your revision.
3. Informative answers on stack overflow on certain java topics
