About Dr Rachel
I have seven years' experience in correcting exams and essays at university level. I received a first-class honours in my Master's, receiving an 'A' for my Master's dissertation. I also received an A in my Leaving Certificate English exam. I am on the Editorial Board for the journal of the Irish Association of Art Historians and have previously worked as the Art Editor of the University's paper, the University Observer. In Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, I have given workshops on essay writing and I set up a daily writing group for postgraduate students.

Postdoc and PhD graduate, Lecturer and Tutor at Trinity College Dublin available for essay, thesis and dissertation proofreading. I have seven years' experience grading essays and assignments at university level. I have also worked as a lecturer in UCD, UCC and the Red Door Gallery. I also have experience teaching Art History & History in a secondary school for the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate. I am available for proofreading, as well as giving advice on structuring, formatting, referencing. During my PhD, I received over 20 grants and awards and am also available to help with writing grant and funding applications. My lessons are 60 minutes and for university level. I am also available for proofreading without Zoom, where I can go through the document in detail. This includes going through literature reviews, grammar, syntax, formatting and referencing. This is charged at a rate of €50 per hour per 2000 words. This option is faster to get through proofreading. On Zoom, if we go through the proofreading together, we will get through around 1000 words per hour.
*NB* I do not have experience with systematic literature reviews. I can only offer assistance with traditional literature reviews.

Rachel proofread my work and was really helpful by giving advice on what was required for writing a literature review
Rare to get someone so accomplished who is so easy to talk to and who actually cares about people! Rachel is someone you know will actually listen and try to help you.
I linked in with Dr Rachel Leckey who very kindly was able to offer me a lot of assistance on preparing for a research trip to Venice I was conducting. The information she provided enabled me to make the most out of the trip, gave me access to resources I wasn’t previously aware of and without her knowledge the visit definitely wouldn’t have been the success it was.
I would highly recommend Rachel if you are thinking of learning more about art history! She has a wealth of knowledge and her enthusiasm for art history is infectious! Loved her classes!
