About Anna
I am currently studying a Masters in Psychology at Cardiff University. I have achieved a 2.1 in Education, Psychology and Special Educational Needs. I also have experience working in both mainstream education and special educational schools in England and Wales. My current role as a teaching assistant involves helping students in academically low ability groups to thrive and improve in the classroom by setting up groups and one to one sessions. My degree and previous experience in the education sector has nurtured an innate passion for helping others. In previous work settings I have showed I am a confident and resilient worker who understands and overcomes challenges such as Covid-19.

My undergraduate degree in Education and Psychology has taught me that the most effective pedagogies and teaching methods are built on students prior learning and experience, from this understanding one can scaffolding pupil learning. I discovered that by listening and understanding the learners the diverse needs, as well as matters of student equity, the learner reach their full potential.
