About Taiwo
I have an A-Level in English Literature, where I achieved an A.
I am a poet and spoken word artist, with 5 years of experience and I have applied and developed my own learning into an art. In this way, I have continued to practice and revise my studies, and my understanding of literature - both as an academic study and art - has increased.

I give lessons in English literature at A2 level and below. Particular focus on analytical skills for reading and interpreting English poetry and plays.
I provide various excerpts from poetry and plays from through the ages as supporting material and work with the student to explore the techniques it uses; its purpose; and its impact (both in the context of the piece and the historical setting). These texts can be of my choosing, that of the student/parent, or according the curriculum.
As a tutor, my style is to support the development of the student's own creative and interpretive skills, whilst providing them with their own analytical tools and helping them be familiar with the terminology of English literature techniques - in accordance to their academic level.
