About Kozette
I am in the final semesters of my undergraduate biology degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin cities. With that being said, I understand that speaking, reading, and writing English can be very confusing and overwhelming. But no need to worry! I love teaching all of those topics since I know how helpful and valuable they can be in academic, professional, and social settings. I have over 4 years of experience working with students ages 3-16 and I really enjoy adapting lessons to each person I tutor!

Hi, everyone!
I am a pre-med biology student who has extensive experience writing academic papers. Furthermore, I have experience (4 years) tutoring Spanish-speaking teens English-speaking. Additionally, I have experience volunteering as a literacy tutor for Hmong-speaking children ages 4-10 through AmeriCorps. I also have experience proofreading academic essays.
The types of literacy and writing techniques I use are all dependent on the goals of my students as well as their respective learning styles. I like to incorporate workbook exercises, videos, and real-world scenarios to thoroughly teach.
The lessons I teach can be applied to students ages 4-18.
