About Muntaha
As a recently graduated (magna cum laude, too!), I understand pretty well just how daunting math class can be, and what a chore it may become to actually understand any of the content covered in your class. I am delighted to have the opportunity to help you learn to enjoy math (or at least overcome your obstacles regarding it). Working together, we'll approach any concepts or questions you have to ensure that you feel absolutely confident in the skills and knowledge that you gain through each session. Learning is about making mistakes and asking questions, and to achieve a good learning environment, it is imperative that you feel comfortable and secure within the tutoring space. Never hesitate to ask a question or inquire about a concept for clarification or just because the topic eludes you. With over five years of personal tutoring of my classmates and peers, you can rest assured that this is a learning space both open-minded and objective, where fun and jokes are as much a part of the curriculum as math is.

Practice-based tutoring centering around helping the student grasp basic concepts and then continuously work up to harder level problems more typical of classwork, homework, and tests typically offered within the student's class. Sessions will begin with a general discussion of the student's current understanding from which general concepts will be explained alongside various examples highlighting the key concepts of the lesson. Students will then be given a number of problems to attempt on their own during the session for which answers and work will be provided later on. Tutoring sessions will provide students with the unique opportunity to actively contribute in the tailoring of their specific needs so as to gain the most help as possible from each session. These classes are intended for students grades K-12 who are taking introductory math classes, Algebra I & II, and Precalculus.
