About Lea
Hey there! My name is Lea and I'm here to tell you a little about me! I was born in the states and raised in Lebanon for most of my life.
There, the first language that I learned was French! Not only was it incorporated into my everyday life but also, French is the basis of all my studies.
I am French educated and I am absolutely in love with the language!
I have prior experience tutoring students in classroom settings and I am a very enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated person!
Learning a new language is always a fun experience! I assure you that I will make our sessions fun and exciting :)

As a 1:1 tutor, I like asking the student what they like to learn! If there's a specific topic or area of knowledge they want to focus on, then I'll shape my teaching around that topic! I like my sessions to be interactive and fun! I also like including fun games within my lectures for younger students, which allows them to feel engaged!
My main area of focus would be students who are beginners in French. I'd love to be able to teach students a new language! I can teach them how to speak, write, listen any French dialogue! I don't really have any restrictions when it comes to teaching :)
Typically, what I like to do is introduce a certain topic (chosen by the student). Then, I explain the concept and introduce videos and interactive activities to keep the student engaged and interested! Of course, I would always make sure to include auditory and visual learning (maybe small videos or clips). Finally, I always make sure everything is clear to the student and make sure they don't have questions.
What sets me apart as a tutor: I have lived in Lebanon almost my entire life, which makes me the perfect candidate for this position! As part of our culture, we speak three languages fluently! (including French).Moreover, I also have some prior experience tutoring children in classroom settings!
