About Ryan
It is imperative that you understand this before we begin; I am simply a knowledgeable and experienced guide to the best use of your own musical endeavors. I cannot do the work for you! Though I am confident in my capability to show you how to approach your instrument professionally, you are the only person who can decide to put in the work.
I've started heavy metalbands, written my own licks, played the chord changes to sheet music,and everything in between. The jazz combo my 3 peers and I marketed in high school still needed to rehearse some simple songs out of our fake books before we were on stage, and all of us were talented musicians; the story only had a way to make itself valid because all 4 of us put in the work.
I'll teach you anything you want to know to be competent! I have a lot of experience to draw from. And most of all, it applies only to the student which pieces of information are relevant or not, so let me know what you want to learn and I'll let you know how to get there.
