About Yana
I'm a tutor, drama teacher, public speaking coach and confidence-builder with over 18 years of experience. I love working with young beginners and seeing them blossom. I am based in the UK and I work online with both groups and individual students. I currently offer online lessons in maths, English, drama, creative writing, public speaking, debating and more, as well as online book clubs for kids.

English grammar and spelling are hard but learning how to use language properly is a beautiful and important thing. It may take a lot of practice but I always try to infect my students with my enthusiasm for reading, writing and intelligent discussion. Analysing works of literature with my students is one of my favourite activities and I believe the critical thinking skills they gain in the process are invaluable in every area of their lives. As with maths, English is fairly easy to study online and face-to-face contact is not strictly necessary. I can tailor our sessions to the student’s needs, either focusing on school work or working more broadly on their language skills.
