About Claire
I have been a primary school teacher for 4 years and have been tutoring for just over 2.
I consistently ensure that the students I teach make above expected progress and reach their full potential.
I have successfully tutored 2 children in preparation for local 11+ entrance exams and both children were successful in being offered a place at their grammar school of choice.
I've also tutored 3 children in preparation for the new KS2 SATs last year, and am now tutoring 2 year 6 pupils, and a year 3 and 4 child, to raise confidence, understanding and achievement in Maths and English.

I am an outstanding primary school teacher, currently working in year 6, with experience of raising standards for all pupils that I teach. I have a strong passion for teaching and learning and plan and teach engaging lessons to challenge, inspire and address gaps and misconceptions. I have successfully tutored children in preparation for 11+ entrance exams, KS1 and KS2 SATS as well as children in early years.
I have a thorough understanding of the new primary curriculum requirements and I am trained in the teaching of Phonics and early reading. I am fluent in French and Spanish too.
I look forward to tutoring online and experiencing a new way to share my knowledge and teach new students.
