About Diane
I have always had a passion for literacy and writing from a young age. Born and raised in North York, Ontario, I graduated from Western University in 2016 and started tutoring with just 1 student part-time when I was still working my corporate job in marketing and HR. From there, I knew the impact I truly wanted to make was through my time helping students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to express themselves and move through today's fast-paced society. My business quickly grew due to referrals and engagement with my ad, and I have never looked back. I have helped students in a variety of situations: from integrating into the academic curriculum after finishing ESL and having to prepare for the IELTS test, to high achievers who are aiming for 90%+ and a strong university application! Whatever your concerns with English may be, let's work together to overcome them!

I am a full-time, private English teacher with a decade of experience specializing in the high school academic and Enriched curriculum. I work with students to understand their goals in order to target my instruction towards their areas of improvement.
I am an enthusiastic, dedicated, and organized individual who is committed to helping each student succeed. My engaging teaching style and friendly personality allow me to connect with my students with ease to build a relationship with trust and respect.
With previous experience in direct marketing and HR, I found my greatest fulfillment lies in seeing the growth my students make and knowing that they are better prepared for their future as the skills we develop in my classes are applicable to everyday life. I consider it a great honor to play a role in some of the most pivotal moments in their lives, such as when they receive their university acceptance letters after working on editing their applications.
