About Vivian

Hi I am Vivian from Hong Kong. I have been teaching piano to students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 for 4 years. My Certification: ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano and Music Theory.

I believe that playing piano is appreciating and rewarding. Learning to play the piano is a powerful catalyst for a child's personal refinement. It shapes their mind, character, and emotional intelligence.

My philosophy: Before playing any music, we should first develop the children's appreciation on music.

About the lesson

We first stimulate the children's interest and appreciation on music before moving onwards. I have spent the last 4 years helping students of all ages to begin their journey in playing piano. Different children has different characters and I like to use different approach tailor made to suit each of them.

We don't just play music. We learn music concept. We start with the correct finger and wrist movements from the beginning.

What we offer:
- Music lessons for young kids for fundemental understanding on rhythm, beat and tones.
- Piano lessons for beginner, Grade 1 to Grade 5.
- Piano lessons for students who is preparing for AMEB exams.
- Piano improvement lessons for improvement of your skills

Jordana

Vivian has been teaching my 4yo daughter for roughly six months now and it’s incredible to see her going from never touching a piano, to now confidently playing two handed songs. It’s beautiful to see her confidence grow and how proud she is of herself. Vivian is warm and patient and I highly recommend her.
