About Hossein
Hello! I'm Hossein. I have a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
Over the years of being a private tutor and a TA for various courses in both undergrad and graduate studies at my universities, I’ve consistently seen that the students with a strong mathematical foundation perform more successfully even in subjects that are not directly math-focused.
Math has always been a subject I both enjoyed and excelled at, and I want to help students build that same confidence. My goal is to help students develop a solid mathematical foundation, improve their problem-solving skills, and learn that math can actually be enjoyable.
I believe with the right explanation, patience, and right methods, every student can succeed in math.

I excel in helping students of all ages build confidence, strengthen fundamentals, and improve academic performance — from early math in elementary school to senior high-school courses such as Advanced Functions and Calculus.
Over the years of tutoring I have learnt being patient is the most important characteristic of a good tutor. I understand that students learn in different ways. If a concept doesn’t click the first time, no problem! I'm ready to tackle it again using different methods, examples, and visuals until it makes sense. My goal is not just memorization, but true understanding and long-term confidence.
My lessons are friendly, structured, and fully personalized to each student’s pace, learning style, and academic goals.
