About Mohammadjavad
Teaching is a job that I truly enjoy. I was a lecturer at McGill, teaching "probability and statistics for Engineers". I am also a dance instructor and a troupe coach and choreographer.
I received my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University, with a very strong background in math and physics.

Using a pedagogical approach, I have taught both University and secondary school level courses, including probability and statistics and math.
I am specialized in the deconstruction of mathematical concepts, in order for students to develop an understanding of the steps, before the concept as a whole.
My teaching style is flexible; I am able to adjust in order to give short term intensives prior to an exam, or a long-term, slower paced approach based on the student's needs.
I am comfortable and experienced working with students with a range of learning styles, and always strive to tailor my approach for the student's benefit.
I am an active listener, helping my students to feel at ease. We will work together to find a solution that suits your needs and benefits your learning the most.
