About Sergio
I am currently a Process Control Engineer at a large chemical plant with a passion for coding. I was a first-generation low-income college graduate from Brown University. My degree was in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering with honors. I was also a Gates Millennium scholar. I love teaching and served as an Organic Chemistry TA at Brown. I enjoy seeing others succeed, so I will make sure my students are successful.

-I am a very detailed oriented teacher and enjoy actively working through problem sets. I believe practicing what you learn is much more effective than lecturing.
-Typically, I get a problem set prepared ahead of time, and use the tutoring time as a working session where I can help in real time.
-I am a Gates scholar and a Brown University graduate, so I understand the rigor that is needed to succeed in such environments. I will use that knowledge to prepare my students as much as possible. I want to make sure they succeed.
-My lessons are for students in high school or younger. I mainly focus in math and some science disciplines. I am also enthusiastic about college preparation.
