About Rafael Maciel
ESL Teacher with TEFL certificate and English teacher for immigrants in the US. Rafael speaks, besides Portuguese (native language) and English (native level), French (B1 level) and also Spanish (A2 level). As a student of languages and letters, he studied various teaching techniques and also phonetics, which he utilza constantly in their classes to reduce accent and understanding of spoken language. Rafael has lived in Leeds, England, during their exchange period in 2014. In 2016, he moved to New Jersey, where he currently lives and works. English teacher with over 4 years of experience, has seen its students to achieve different goals, for example, succeed in the IELTS (International test proficiency) to apply in Canada's immigration process in 2016, and helped a Colombian student inicar to the College in the uS in 2017.
