About Emma
Hi I'm Emma.
I have just finished as a series regular for after 2 years on the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
I have over a decade of experience in performance, beginning my journey on stage at the age of 10 before developing my career in screen acting.
I have trained with the Almeida Theatre Young Company, the National Youth Theatre and Identity School of Acting and have gained valuable industry experience working professionally on screen, including two years as a series regular on a UK television soap, alongside other credits with Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Alongside my acting career, I have spent the past two years working with children through a creative childcare company that combines performing arts and childcare. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how to communicate with young people, build their confidence and create a safe, positive environment where they can express themselves creatively.
I am passionate about helping young performers develop their skills, whether they are taking their first steps into acting, preparing for auditions or simply building confidence through performance. I bring both professional industry knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children into every lesson.

I primarily work with children aged 4–16 who are interested in exploring screen acting, whether they are completely new to acting, preparing for auditions or looking to improve their on-camera skills. I also help students. I can also support students with LAMDA exam preparation, school and youth theatre performances. Whether you are preparing a monologue, a scene, or a self-tape, I can help students develop their character choices, confidence, delivery and performance technique.
My teaching approach is centred around creating a fun, supportive and confidence-building environment where young actors can develop their skills and enjoy the creative process.
My lessons are tailored to each individual student and combine practical acting exercises with industry-focused techniques, including character development, script analysis, improvisation, camera awareness, scene preparation and self-tape coaching. I have experience helping young performers prepare audition scenes and self-tapes for professional opportunities, including students who have gone on to audition for major productions with platforms such as Netflix.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and focus on building confidence, encouraging creativity and helping students perform naturally and truthfully on camera. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable exploring characters while developing the practical skills needed for screen performance.
I am a professionally trained actor with television and film experience, including credits with Channel 4, Netflix and Amazon. I trained with the Almeida Theatre Young Company, the National Youth Theatre and Identity School of Acting, and bring my professional industry experience into my teaching to give students practical insight into performance and audition technique.
