About Kristen
I was born and raised in St.Thomas, Ontario Canada. I grew up with a sexually abusive, drunken father, a broken home, developed mental illness and addictions and jumped from abusive relationship to in and out of the justice system as a result. I thought I had no possible way to get out, and be who I was meant to be. Then in 2015 I came across those adult coloring pages, and it changed my life in such a profound way that from that point on I just became obsessed with art, and learning as much as I could. Now I'm a professional artist, I own my own business, and So I decided to start taking courses on Art Therapy. I want to be able to help others who were feeling like I was, that you can get out of this. One Drawing at a time.

I started started using Art therapy myself back in 2015. It helped me cope with many different things I had going on in my own life from loss of a family member, mental illness, addictions, you name it, I have been through it. So, now that I am fully recovered and living proof that you don't have to be born with an artistic talent to benefit from Art therapy, I'm here to help others, maybe someone like me. No judgement, no expectations, just art, and peace of mind.
