About Paula
For the past 6 years, I have been teaching chemistry to GCSE, A-Level, and university students, helping them improve academic performance through personalised and engaging lessons. My experience includes supporting learners with exam preparation, coursework, scientific problem-solving, and advanced chemistry concepts.
I specialise in simplifying difficult subjects such as kinetics, thermodynamics, bonding, organic chemistry, and analytical methods into clear and practical explanations. My lessons are designed to strengthen understanding, improve confidence, and develop critical thinking skills needed for academic success.
I believe every student has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance and learning approach. That is why I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s pace, strengths, and educational goals. I focus on creating lessons that are interactive, structured, and encouraging.
Throughout my tutoring experience, I have worked with students from various educational backgrounds and helped them build stronger revision habits, exam techniques, and independent learning skills. My chemistry lessons are created to help students overcome academic challenges and build strong scientific foundations in a supportive and motivating environment. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and university chemistry with lessons tailored to individual academic needs, learning preferences, and examination goals.
Each session focuses on developing clear understanding of essential topics such as chemical bonding, kinetics, equilibrium, energetics, organic pathways, and analytical chemistry. I simplify difficult material using structured explanations, real-world examples, and guided problem-solving exercises that make learning more effective and enjoyable.
Students benefit from personalised support with coursework, assignments, revision techniques, and exam preparation. I incorporate exam-style questions and detailed feedback to improve confidence, accuracy, and time management during assessments.
