About Anni
Hi! My name is Anni, I'm a 30-year-old German professional choir director and vocalist, based in London since 2021.
Since I was 4 years old, music played a big role in my life. I can play multiple instruments, but my focus lies on the voice. At the age at 15, I directed my first youth pop choir.
I'm passionate about helping others find their personal expression and enjoyment in singing, either as individuals or in a choir through vocal harmony and community.
I am teaching vocal technique, performance, backing vocals, ensemble skills, conducting and arranging. I also have multiple choirs, from beginners to advanced, accompanied and a cappella, singing pop, jazz and improvised choir music.
My gig highlights include singing on Jools Holland's show "Later..." on BBC as part of Jacob Collier's choir, singing a Quincy Jones premiere on German TV with my quartet, and recording multiple times at Abbey Road Studios in choirs and vocal groups.
If I don't do music, which is rarely happening, I'm practising yoga and meditation.

I offer classes in choir directing, conducting techniques, rehearsal methodology and/or arranging for choir - both classical and contemporary.
With extensive international experience through classical conducting studies in Germany, and jazz/pop choir directing studies in Denmark, I bring a unique, globally-informed approach to music education.
I currently direct 4 diverse choirs ranging from beginner to advanced levels, specialising in both accompanied and a cappella repertoire.
Whether you're just beginning your choir directing/singing journey or refining advanced techniques, I tailor lessons to your goals and musical interests. Perfect for aspiring conductors, music teachers, arrangers, and passionate singers looking to develop leadership skills.

Anni took my choir arranging to the next level and made everything really easy to understand. No one could inspire me the way she did. Her emotional intelligence is just as high as her professional intelligence. If you're thinking about it, just give it go!
First of all Anni's knowledge blew me away. Im a beginner but music theory is not knew to me so I know a good tutor when I see one. Anni's nature is very calm and supportive. I am also very insecure about my singing voice and she made me feel so safeeee and didn't stress my voice (I have to use my voice at work a lot so I got a lot of tips on how to keep my voice healthy etc.) recommended!
