About Michael
I have tutored secondary school, undergraduate, and post-graduate students throughout my academic career. My most commonly tutored subjects are Mathematics and Physics, but l have also tutored Calculus, Chemistry, Dynamics and Control, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Numerical Methods and Simulation, Structural Mechanics, and Computer Programming (Fortran/C/C++/Matlab). I typically take on 3-5 students per semester with weekly or bi-weekly schedules.

I am a PhD student at the University of Glasgow offering tutoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subjects to secondary and post-secondary students. In addition to previous academic degrees, I also have 6 years of industrial experience as a professional engineer. I use a goal-oriented problem solving approach to solidify subject fundamentals before extending to more complex concepts. This process is tailored to the specific needs of each student during one-to-one tutorials.
