About Deepak
I learned flamenco at the source. I built my foundations with Amir John Haddad (El Amir) in Madrid, and returned to Spain again and again to study accompaniment for dance and singing with maestros such as Eduardo Rebollar (AER), Alfredo Lagos, José Gálvez and Juan del Gastor. I'm a working performer across Spain, Portugal, Slovenia and India. I've recorded for Bollywood composers, including Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman. So you're learning authentic flamenco, taught with the theory and structure to make it clear. Most of my students stay for years, and we've grown a warm community of players who help each other grow.

My approach & method
I teach a principle-based method :
technique, rhythm (compás) and musicality, not a bag of tricks. We build a real foundation and layer up from there. In practice, that means isolating each element (left hand, right hand, and rhythm) in small, focused blocks, then bringing them together so it actually sticks. There are no shortcuts in art; my goal is to set you up for a lifetime of playing, not just one song. Along the way you'll develop the core flamenco techniques :
rasgueado, picado, arpeggio, tremolo, alzapúa and compás and apply them to the palos : soleá, bulería, alegrías, tangos and more)

Every new student begins with a free 30-minute trial, so we can play together, see where you are, and map a path. Every lesson is tailored to your level and goals.
