About Aiden
Expressing oneself through music is a powerful journey, and I aim to guide students on that path. Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I combine technical expertise, performance experience, and teaching insight to create engaging lessons. I start with fundamental skills such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, strumming, rhythm, and tone, gradually progressing to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is taught in a practical, applied manner, making it easy to use in real music. Each lesson is personalised to the student’s pace, goals, and musical style, fostering confidence and creativity. I emphasise both technical skill and expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion through their instrument. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises develop well-rounded musicianship. Students explore multiple genres, including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop, to expand their musical vocabulary. Structured practice routines, feedback, and guidance help learners overcome challenges effectively. Milestones are celebrated to reinforce progress and motivation. I encourage improvisation, composition, and personal interpretation to help students find their unique musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, technical mastery, and artistic freedom to ensure effective learning. Over time, students develop proficiency, confidence, and expressive artistry. Teaching guitar is not just instruction—it is mentorship, guidance, and creative collaboration. My ultimate goal is to help students play authentically, creatively, and with confidence. Every lesson is an opportunity to inspire artistry, growth, and lifelong passion for music.

Teaching guitar is about more than technique—it’s about building confidence and creativity. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Music, I bring a balance of academic training and personal artistry to every session. My lessons start with proper hand positioning, rhythm, and tone before moving into stylistic playing and improvisation. I help students understand theory in a way that feels relevant and enjoyable. Whether you’re learning to accompany yourself while singing or preparing for live performances, I provide clear steps towards your goals. I tailor my teaching to your interests—rock, pop, classical, or jazz—so that practice always feels meaningful. I also include ear training, songwriting, and expressive phrasing in every course. My philosophy is to teach the student, not just the syllabus. I create a relaxed, motivating environment that encourages exploration without fear of mistakes. My students learn not only to play but to communicate through their instrument. Seeing that transformation is what makes teaching so rewarding for me.
