Hello! My name is Jack, and I am a passionate and experienced tutor. With several years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of helping numerous students embark on their musical journey and achieve their music goals.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a fun and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity, skill development, and a deep appreciation for music. I have a solid understanding of various guitar styles, including rock, pop, metal and blues, and I tailor my lessons to accommodate each student's musical preferences and aspirations.
With a masters degree in musical composition I have a comprehensive knowledge of music theory, which I incorporate into my lessons to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of music, be it guitar or composition/production. From complete beginners learning their first chords or those further along looking to refine their techniques, I am adept at adapting my teaching style to cater to students of all skill levels and ages.
My approach to teaching involves a balance of structured lessons and flexibility. I work closely with my students to set achievable goals and develop personalized lesson plans that focus on their strengths and areas for improvement. I emphasize proper technique, finger dexterity, music reading, improvisation, and ear training, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
