About Sanchita
I am Sanchita. I am a trained IGCSE art instructor working with high school students in Mumbai. Making art was my passion since childhood. At the moment teaching, practicing, and having conversations around art feel like a dream come true. During the process I have come across students who think too much about the question, "Is this good enough?" As a teacher, I help my student understand that if they are learning and enjoying making art, that is the most important thing! My classes include the four essential components of ideation, skill development, artist reference and personal outcome IN EACH CLASS. Whether it is sketching, doodling, color mixing, portrait study, after each session the student will be able to clearly answer the question of "This is what I learnt today."
My classes are also planned in increasing order of skill proficiency. I begin from the point where my student has the requirement of, and gradually progress with increasing comfort. I am comfortable with complete beginners as well. This means that the pace of the class is decided by the student and not the teacher.
Lastly, one of my personal mottos while teaching is I make sure my students ENJOY AND HAVE FUN DURING THE PROCESS OF LEARNING!
