About Christopher

I am a music producer, DJ, musician, sound designer, composer, music technology lecturer with 10 years industry experience and 7 years lecturing/teaching experience.
I have a 1st class honours degree in Music Technology and I am also an internationally recognised DJ/Producer that works under the alias "Sketi". My work has been recognised in DJ mag, Mix Mag and I have had my music played by Danny Howard on Radio 1 and various big name DJs such as My Nu Leng. I have also played many international festivals such as Summer Festival/Winter Festival in Spain.

About the lesson

My teaching method is completely centred around the students requirements of what they want to achieve and also knowing the best areas I am able to push them in so they are able to maximise their learning and push their work quality as far as possible. I have 7 years worth of college level lecturing/teaching experience and I am fully versed in most current successful teaching methods. All lessons will be student centred.

The free 1st class will be spent as an introduction, finding out about what you want to learn, improve and specialise in with a few quick tips thrown in for good measure.

Lesson structure will mainly involve:

- Introduction and agreement on what will be learnt.
- 3 x 15 minute sections for each topic of focus
- 10 minute Q&A at the end

I worked with Chris for around a year. His teaching methods were fantastic, making learning from Chris very easy. He always goes the extra mile for his students and has personally helped me a hell of a lot more than he was obliged to in his time as my teacher and after.

I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a private tutor. He always maintains a professional manner. while also ensuring a relaxed and friendly environment in which students can have some fun. He is easy to talk to about issues as he is always respectful towards students. He is a rather laid back and approachable teacher
