I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 10 years, and have a 1st-class degree in music. I have been gigging around London and Europe for many years now and performed in many different kinds of projects, so I’m able to bring real-world experience to my lessons.

Hi - My name’s James, I’m a London-based musician. I can comfortably teach jazz, blues, pop, salsa, bossa nova, afrobeat, gospel, and the ABRSM style classical syllabus. I’m happy to teach more experienced musicians or complete beginners! I offer in-person and online lessons, and can travel throughout north-east London. I can also host lessons at my apartment in E5, but please note children's lessons have to be at the student's house. I’d recommend lessons of 45 minutes or 1 hour.
