About David
· My name is David and I am a professional musician and a vocal/piano coach.
· Master of Music in Popular Music Teaching and Learning from University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music.
· Bachelor of Music Performance from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
· I have been teaching piano, voice, and music theory for 10+ years in studio and classroom settings with more than 100 award winning students.
· All of my music theory students have successfully achieved their goals on getting ABRSM or AP exam passed.
· I am eager to help more students worldwide to really enjoy music and achieve their goals whether is to prepare for college or passing graded exams.

· I teach healthy vocal, piano techniques, and music theory. Most of my students participate and pass grade exams and festivals at all levels.
· Professional in both Pop and Classical voice and piano training. You can learn the one with your preference or learn both!
· Theory lessons can be tailored to AP and ABRSM theory exam with experience for 15 years of teaching and testing myself. All my previous students have passed the exams with merit with 1 take.
· I teach with thorough explanations to help you really understand the concepts with a firm foundation for advanced music theory in conservatories.
· Personalized plans to start from your own level and the outcome you wish to achieve!
