About James
I started learning the piano when I was six and ever since then I have either been learning, performing or teaching music - and for the past ten years it's been all three!
I studied musical performance at college, then obtained a degree in ethnomusicology, all while working as a touring musician.
Using fun and creative learning techniques, you can expect to improve your technical playing ability, gain an understanding of musical theory, develop skills in musical performance and ready yourself for collaborative musicianship if that's what you want.

There is no commitment necessary if you just fancy a trial lesson.
Lesson times are between 9am-9pm seven days a week.
Whether you are looking for guitar, songwriting or musical theory lessons, we will create a course specifically tailored for you.
Lessons are available at studios in Brighton (two minutes from the station) and Portslade.
Lessons are available online Zoom or at your home.
