About Paula
Paula recently completed her music degree at the University of Bristol, majoring in Jazz Performance under the tuition of Emily Wright. She has a background in operatic and choral singing and participated in numerous competitions throughout her teenage years. Now she has redirected her focus onto soul, jazz and pop singing and writes her own songs. Paula sings in an up and coming Neo-soul band who she gigs with regularly in venues in and around Bristol.
She has had 12 years training in classical piano, so she is also able to give beginner and intermediate piano lessons.
Paula is fluent in German and French.

Paula believes that following the learner's curiosity and interests brings the most exciting results. Forcing a person to sing or play when they are not in the right frame of mind can be a very negative experience, especially for children. She tries to build trust with the pupil and create a safe space in which making music together is easy and inspiring.
Paula believes that practicing is key to making progress, so she will strongly encourage the pupil to do so.
