About Matthew
I am a devoted and passionate educator and committed to a teaching approach which includes the science of healthy singing, a sensitivity to the artist’s physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing, and an unyielding commitment to guiding students towards a more productive life both personally and professionally.
I have been teaching and performing opera and concert around the world for the last 25 years. I am presently a Professor of Voice at McGill University in Montreal. My wealth of knowledge regarding vocal technique and performing will propel you voice and spirit to heights you never thought possible! Whether you are just beginning or have been singing your whole life, I will help you prepare your voice to the next level.

Voice lessons are given online via ZOOM or FaceTime. They are typically 1 hour in length and I can work around your schedule. Lessons are ideal for singers over 16 years of age and will require a positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and openness to growing and creating.
