About Paloma
I am a classically trained pianist and composer and a student at the University of Edinburgh currently working towards a degree in composition. I have taught over 15 students of all ages that now have a firm sense of confidence in playing and sight-reading. I have worked as a professional pianist and accompanist and I have composed the score for a popular indie video game. I am extremely passionate about teaching music and I aim to help students cultivate their own sense of musicality while remaining rooted in a classical discipline.

My teaching method is highly personalised to the student I am working with. I approach each lesson with patience, dedication, and enthusiasm. Each lesson the student and I will start off with a set of personally crafted warm-ups and technique builders and we will then work on the musical repertoire the student and I have built together. I will give students valuable practice tools so they can develop a sense of comfortability when practising independently and reaching proficiency.

Perfect! Paloma came to our house to meet the children. She was very helpful and did her best to understand the children's background so she would be able to meet their needs. We're looking forward to having Paloma teach the children piano.
