Fully trained as a professional pianist and music teacher, my teaching style is unique. I understand the challenges that one might encounter, but I also see the pleasure and sense of achievement that brings. It is important to balance the two.
Learning music can be more than a hobby. With the right teacher, it also helps develops positive life traits like patience, perseverance and self-confidence. This is an important journey, and which is why I don't compromise on the quality of lessons.
All lessons are taught on either our fine Boston grand piano or professional-grade upright piano. I'll provide the right guidance to keep you motivated and help make your musical journey enjoyable :-)

Perfect! Sharon is an exceptional teacher - I highly recommend her. She teaches both my children (aged 6yrs and 9yrs). Her style is gentle and thoughtful - lessons are centred around the child, inspiring both a love for playing and great technique. My youngest has learned only from Sharon and has progressed quickly. My eldest switched from another teacher, and went from tolerating lessons to loving them!

Sharon teaches both of my girls. She is clearly a very knowledgeable teacher who’s studied her craft well. My daughters really enjoy their weekly piano lessons. I never need to remind them to go practise either! I’m so glad that we found Sharon, she’s heads above the last piano teacher we had. :D
I appreciate the professionalism and patience, lesson are conducted in a pleasant atmosphere and Sharon quickly grabbed contact with my child. The most important thing is that this is great fun for my child!
Sharon is enthusiastic and encouraging. She makes learning the piano exciting. She has helped me to progress really quickly through my grades and she also encourages me to learn a wide range of music for fun.
