About Sharonice
I have had an interest in music from a young age; however, it's only been over the past four years that I chose to approach music professionally. I hold a qualification in performing arts which I received from Campus of Performing Arts (COPA) in 2022 majoring in Keyboard and Vocals. I have also participated in classical piano and theory grade exams. I am currently involved in the music industry as a session musician (vocalist and pianist) as well as a tutor. Being active in the industry allows me to approach my students in a realistic manner and offer them content which gives some insight into the music industry. It has also instilled some professional qualities in me such as punctuality, effective and open communication and making sure that I execute tasks to the best of my ability. I am a patient and attentive individual who is able to meet students where they are at and work towards individualized and specific goals. I still have much to learn as a musician so I use each interaction as an opportunity for me to learn something new.

I am passionate about Piano and Vocals and excited to see where the music industry is headed. I bring this excitement to my lessons and hope to inspire all my students.
In my approach, I choose to infuse different genres to ensure that my students receive a well rounded understanding of music but the main focus is always on the genre that the student is interested in. My lessons are filled with singing and using of the voice if you're learning piano; and playing the piano when you're learning vocals as I believe the two instruments are closely linked and explain each other well.
I believe in making lessons appropriately fun and insightful for different age groups who fall within beginner to intermediate levels. My lessons are aimed at students from as young as 4 years old to adults.
