Andrey and I both studied at the national academy for theater and film arts in Sofia, and I know him as a highly skilled professional, his first movie already was an artistic masterpiece. I worked with Andrey on three of my projects- my solo show for theatre and two of my films- a short, called "The Month in Rome" and the subject of a feature film with which I applied for a scriptwriting programme in Rome. For my play Andrey helped me to rewrite the beginning, so I could make the text more "urgent" and clear for the audience, he gave me specific ideas about what could be changed. Then for the subject for my exam we spoke a lot about what is believable, how could I emphasize the main conflict in the story, how to work on my characters, but also what is good in my script... Andrey is very honest and very experienced and he will quickly tell you what works and what not, giving you examples of what can be improved, but always provoking you to think for yourself and to be creative and motivated. Andrey is also a very positive person, with a great fantasy, great sense of humor and love for the people, so he will let you know what are your strengths as a scriptwriter and he will encourage you to go on. At the end of the process you will either want to marry him or to have him for your best friend, but for sure he will help you improve your writing and you will have a great time working with him!!! I highly recommend!

He always takes the time to understand the real story behind the words I've written on the page, and comes back with the character and plot insights I need to consider to help me fully bring my story to life. I've worked with Andrey on multiple screenwriting projects, including a comedy series and short and feature films. Andrey's spot-on feedback and consistent encouragement have helped me develop and improve my film scripts at every stage, from concept, logline and treatment through expanded treatments and multiple rough drafts to final shooting script. I've honestly learned so much from him and owe so much of my success as a filmmaker to him.
